Get to Know me!
Hey, I am Anna-Lena and like I said before I am currently a student at AMD Düsseldorf to earn my bachelor degree in brand- and communicationdesign. Usually people ask you how you would describe yourself. If I had to narrow it down to one word it would be enthusiastic. I find something to be passionate about in nearly any topic and love to spend my time on it while focusing on the main plot of the whole. I enjoy paying attention to the little details which in the end often make a difference between good and perfect.
Being able to be passionate about something keeps myself as motivated as I am wether its project wise or hobby wise. As for that I constantly expand my own skill set with different tutorials or workshop but still have a lot to learn (but considering the sheer amount of possibilities isn't as bas as it sounds at first more like a new touchpoint to start of.)
I am currently on the search for an internship for the months March till August 2024. And would enjoy to be invited for a personal interview.

From 2019 till 2021 I have been in the United State as an AuPair where I took care of 3 children. I got the chance to expand my english knowledge and learned how to deal with sudden changes of situations due to the fact Covid hit during my stay. I decided to extend my time there which gave me the possibility to teach myself more flexibility and to become more responsible with time and task management.
I've been working alongside my studies since I was 14 years old. Those occupations include gas station or supermarkets such as Rewe or Kaufland. The importance or the positive input I gained from this might not be as obvious but I sure got insights on the importance of design in the context of the actual buying process, the difference in advantages of a design for market or consumer and the key factors of smart placement. It thought me to actually pay attention to things the usual consumer does unaware.
After I got my High School Diploma I went to the US.
I participated in different Workshops such as the Personal Development: Graphic Design from the UVI or the "Acting for Non- Theater Majors" at HCC, which allowed me to achieve a skilled level of communication, presentation and a general understanding of speaking in a demonstration aspect.
I applied to the AMD during my time abroad and due to my acceptance im still studying today. I will earn my bachelor degree in 2025.
